In Abidjan, young inventors present their projects at Science Fest Africa
In Abidjan, Côte d’Ivoire, young participants showcased their inventions at the Science Fest Africa fair, organized on April 21 by the Turkish Maarif Foundation. The event brought together school pupils and university students who came to present scientific and technical projects to the public.
The aim of the gathering was to highlight young people’s creativity and encourage them to take a greater interest in science. Participants presented different ideas and achievements in several fields, with demonstrations prepared for visitors.
The fair also gave young inventors the opportunity to exchange with one another and with the organizers. For many, it was an important chance to make their work known, but also to develop their skills by presenting their projects in a clear and concrete way.
Through this type of event, the organizers want to support science education and promote innovation among young people in Africa. Science Fest Africa thus shows the importance of creating spaces where new generations can share their ideas and talents.
