Anthropic signs a deal with SpaceX to use Musk’s supercomputer
Anthropic, a company specializing in artificial intelligence, has signed a major partnership with SpaceX. Thanks to this agreement, it will be able to use Colossus One, the largest data center owned by Elon Musk’s company. This collaboration is expected to help Anthropic strengthen its capabilities against competitors such as OpenAI.
Colossus One is described as a very powerful supercomputer. According to published information, this data center is currently underused. Anthropic will therefore be able to take advantage of this available capacity to train and develop its artificial intelligence models on a large scale.
The partnership also shows the growing importance of technical infrastructure in the AI race. To create ever more powerful models, companies need enormous computing power, which requires specialized and very expensive data centers.
With this agreement, Anthropic is seeking to accelerate its development in a sector where competition is intense. For its part, SpaceX is finding a new use for part of its computing resources. This alliance illustrates the increasingly close ties between major technology companies and the world of artificial intelligence.
