In Namur, residents are voting on 24 participatory budget projects
In Namur, residents are invited to take part in the city's participatory budget. From 11 May to 7 June 2026, the people of Namur can vote to choose the projects that will be carried out. This initiative allows citizens to take part in local decisions and to propose actions to improve life in the municipality.
A total of 24 projects are in competition. They were selected as part of the participatory budget, presented as an important moment in local democratic life. The selected projects are intended to help shape the city in the years to come.
The city is offering several ways to vote. Residents can vote online on the municipal website. They can also vote by phone at 081 24 86 90 during office hours. Another option is to fill in a form provided for this purpose.
With this vote, the municipality wants to encourage citizen participation and give more space to ideas coming from the ground. The participatory budget thus offers residents the opportunity to directly choose certain initiatives for their city.
