A wave of ATM explosions in the Netherlands

A سلسلة من التفجيرات (series of explosions) targeted cash deposit machines across Nederland (the Netherlands) from Wednesday night into Thursday morning, damaging multiple المواقع (locations) and leaving a teenage girl injured in Amsterdam.

In Lopik, Utrecht, unknown suspects blew up a Geldmaat cash deposit machine on Anna van Burenstraat, causing extensive damage. As a precaution, the apartment above the site was evacuated. It remains unclear whether any money was taken.

Another explosion struck Amsterdam-Nieuw-West, where a machine on Slotermeerlaan was destroyed. The blast caused significant damage to the building, shattering windows. A teenage girl was injured by flying glass and required hospital treatment. Authorities have not confirmed if cash was stolen.

The incidents follow earlier attacks on Tuesday, when two machines were destroyed within 30 minutes—one on Marconistraat in Badhoevedorp and another on Dorpsstraat in Landsmeer. Police arrested two suspects in Amsterdam shortly after the Badhoevedorp explosion, while indicating different perpetrators may be responsible for the Landsmeer incident.

The موجة التفجيرات (wave of explosions) began Monday, with an early morning blast at Plein 1945 in Laren involving masked suspects who fled on a scooter. Hours earlier, another machine was destroyed at a supermarket on Sloterkade in Amsterdam-Zuid, with the explosion heard as far as Beethovenstraat. Police continue to investigate possible links between all incidents, including a similar attack in mid-March at a hotel in Amsterdam.
