Police find dead baby – parents arrested

A shocking case has emerged in Brandenburg after police discovered a dead baby in the town of Müllrose, triggering an urgent criminal investigation.
Authorities confirmed that two people have been arrested in connection with the case. According to *Polizeidirektion Ost* (East Police Directorate), the suspects are believed to be the baby’s parents, aged 34 and 39.
The infant was found on Monday inside a residential building located in the city center of Müllrose, in the *Kreis Oder-Spree* (Oder-Spree district). Police acted after receiving information from witnesses, which led them to the scene.
Investigators are now working to determine exactly what happened. Prosecutors from *Staatsanwaltschaft Frankfurt (Oder)* (Frankfurt an der Oder Public Prosecutor’s Office) confirmed that an autopsy has been scheduled to establish the cause of death.
