European mafias execute Tehran's secret orders
Two hand grenades exploded in October 2024 near the Israeli embassy in the Danish capital Copenhagen without causing any injuries. It was unknown at the time who was behind these attacks, but subsequent investigations revealed leads indicating the involvement of criminal networks linked to Iran.
A Swedish television documentary prepared by SVT reveals that Iran began using organized crime gangs in Europe to carry out attacks on Jewish targets, whether in Sweden, the Netherlands, France, or even in the United States, since late 2023. It appears that the orders were coming from inside Iran.
In Sweden, everyone knows the names of the rival gang leaders: "Rawa Majid" known as "the Kurdish Fox" and "Ismail Abdo" nicknamed "the Strawberry". The war between them began in 2022 when Abdo, a Swedish-Turkish drug dealer, started to compete with Majid, the leader of a Swedish-Kurdish-Iranian criminal network. The war escalated violently, involving their family members and mutual attacks with explosives.
In the midst of this conflict, a new element emerged: attacks on Israeli targets. The first of these occurred in January 2024, when a hand grenade was thrown at the Israeli embassy in Stockholm without detonating. According to informed sources, the aim of this operation was to instill fear, which is what Iran sought, and it is believed that "Rawa Majid" used this operation to buy his freedom from the Iranian regime after fleeing to it from Turkey at the end of 2023.
Since then, six more attacks have occurred against Israeli targets, which were primitive and unprofessional, including throwing a firework bomb in Brussels, gunfire in Stockholm, and the recent explosion in Copenhagen. Even in Gothenburg, a 13-year-old boy, under the influence of drugs, fired at the headquarters of the Israeli arms company Elbit.
Israeli and Swedish authorities suspect that associates of Abdo are involved in some of these operations. One member of his gang said they received threats from Iranian agents, but they refused to comply so as not to enter into a war against Israel. However, another admitted that they were tasked with attacking the opposition channel "Iran International" in London, and blowing up or killing its crew, in addition to carrying out operations against any target linked to Israel in any country.
At the end of the documentary, it is revealed that Iran plans to continue these operations until summer, with new orders conveyed to the Abdo gang to carry out "missions" in Germany, Belgium, and Britain. One of them said: "They are using us as puppets to execute their schemes." What is happening is not an exception, but a known pattern in Iran's strategy. In 2015 and 2017, Tehran paid Dutch gangs to assassinate Iranians in the Netherlands. In 2023, a group led by a mafia leader in France planned to carry out four attacks against companies owned by Jews, and also monitored a Jewish lawyer's office. In the United States, an Iranian drug dealer faced trial in 2024 for the murder of two of his compatriots.
In Sweden, following a series of incidents involving the burning of the Holy Quran in 2023, Iranian hackers sent a message to 15,000 phones in the Scandinavian countries calling for revenge against those who "desecrated" the Quran, highlighting the Iranian regime's indifference to who carries out its attacks as long as its goals are achieved.
