Three bodies found in a house in Alkmaar under mysterious circumstances
The police in Alkmaar found three bodies inside a house on Stikkelwaard street on Wednesday morning. The discovery was made around 11 AM, but authorities have not yet revealed the identities of the victims. Investigators are still working to notify the victims' families before announcing further details.
At this stage, the police have not ruled out any possibility for the cause of death, whether it be a violent crime, an accident, or natural causes. Forensic teams have been sent to the site to begin the investigation, while parts of the Huisbuurt neighborhood in Alkmaar-Noord have been cordoned off to the public.
Firefighters were called to the area shortly after the initial report, where they helped close roads and provided support to emergency teams. A supervisor from the fire department arrived with a psychological support team later in the morning to handle the sensitive situation.
The authorities have not provided any information on whether the victims were connected to each other. In a statement issued after 3 PM, the police confirmed that the criminal investigation is still in its early stages and that no additional details can be shared at this time.
The lack of official information has led to the spread of rumors online about the identities of the victims, their relationships with each other, and the nature of their deaths. The police urged the public to avoid spreading unconfirmed information, emphasizing that investigators are exploring all possibilities and updates will be announced as soon as possible.
