Traffic congestion and chaos due to Stadthalle shows!
Wiener Stadthalle (the Stadthalle in Vienna) is hosting a series of special concerts this week that attract thousands of audiences, which may lead to noticeable traffic congestion around the venue.
The events kicked off on Wednesday, April 23, with The Lumineers, followed by a special performance by Bilderbuch on April 24. The excitement peaks today, Friday, April 25, with a show by Reinhard Fendrich, the Austropop legend, who will perform his most famous songs.
With the influx of thousands, traffic delays are expected on Felberstraße, Gablenzgasse, and Hütteldorfer Straße, and parking is limited.
For this reason, ARBÖ (the Austrian Automobile Club) recommends relying on public transport to avoid stress, especially the U6 subway or tram lines 6 and 18, which stop right near the hall.
