Disappeared without a trace: A reward of 50,000 euros for finding Jennifer
More than six years have passed since Jennifer Scharinger disappeared without a trace. The girl was 21 years old when she went missing on January 21, 2018, after a breakup and argument with her ex-partner. She was last seen leaving their shared apartment in Vienna - Brigittenau, and since that day, no one has heard anything about her.
The Criminal Police Office in Vienna, specifically the Department for Investigating Crimes Against Life and Body, has been investigating her case since then. Based on the evidence and the circumstances surrounding the case, the police strongly suspect that a violent crime has occurred. Despite intensive efforts and extensive searches, no trace of Jennifer has been found to this day.
By order of the Public Prosecutor's Office in Vienna, the Vienna State Police has re-released a photo of Jennifer in hopes that new evidence may emerge to help solve the mystery. Her family still holds on to hope, waiting for someone to provide a piece of information that could reveal the truth after all these long years.
To encourage the public to help, Jennifer's family announced a reward of 50,000 euros for any information leading to the resolution of the case.
