Teenager confesses to a brutal murder in a cemetery in Vienna!
A horrific crime in Vienna has left the city in shock. On Monday afternoon, a 14-year-old girl claimed she killed a 64-year-old woman in the Baumgarten cemetery, where she stabbed her multiple times with a pocket knife. The victim was found lifeless next to a grave, covered in stab and cut wounds.
The police were alerted after a video appeared on Snapchat showing the crime online. Shortly after, a girl with dark hair and blood-stained hands was arrested near the cemetery. Witnesses said the teenager, who was surprisingly calm, only asked the officers for a cigarette when she was arrested.
During the interrogation, the girl, who had a previous record of problematic behavior, confessed to the attack. "Yes, I attacked her with a knife," she admitted. She claimed she did not fully understand why she acted this way but described her feeling of intense anger and an inner desire to commit violence. "I wanted to kill someone," she told the authorities, revealing what officials described as a pure passion for killing.
Authorities confirmed that the teenager was living in a group home under supervision. Psychological evaluations and the toxicology report are still pending, and investigators are still working to determine the full motive behind the shocking act.
The autopsy of the victim is scheduled for Tuesday. While the 14-year-old boy is presumed innocent under Austrian law, the case has shocked Vienna, raising urgent questions about youth violence and mental health interventions.
