Three teenagers found after being missing since Wednesday evening near Silvuyk
Three teenagers who went missing near Sleeuwijk (a village in North Brabant) have been found safe. Police confirmed they are in good health and will speak with both the children and their parents to understand what happened.
The teenagers were no longer together when they were located. According to a police spokesperson, one of them had become separated from the other two during the time they were missing.
It is still unclear where the teenagers were found or why their whereabouts had remained unknown since Wednesday evening. Police stated that now they have been located, the case is no longer being treated as a missing persons investigation.
The teenagers were last seen on Wednesday evening near Sleeuwijk (a village in North Brabant). Their parents reported them missing after they failed to return. Police believe they had left the area on foot. One of the teenagers is from Hardinxveld-Giessendam (a town in South Holland).
Police had earlier shared their descriptions on social media platforms, including Facebook, but did not disclose their ages. The name of one girl was also withheld. A spokesperson said it is unclear why this information was not made public.
