A 19-year-old girl kills a teenager in Ramsberg
What was supposed to be a fun day at Großer Brombachsee lake in the Ramsberg area of Bavaria ended in a bloody tragedy, after a 15-year-old boy was stabbed to death by a 19-year-old girl.
The incident occurred on Saturday evening, when a fight broke out between groups of young people at the public lake. According to the police, the dispute escalated from exchanging insults to a physical altercation, ending with a young woman stabbing a boy with a knife, causing him serious injuries that led to his death at the scene despite the police's attempts to save him.
The suspect fled the crime scene accompanied by a number of young people, prompting a wide-ranging security intervention. The police launched a pursuit campaign and asked citizens via the "X" platform (formerly Twitter) to stay away from the vicinity of the Ramsberg train station. Shortly after, the authorities managed to apprehend the suspect, who is scheduled to be presented to the investigating judge.
The criminal investigation teams in Mittelfranken began collecting evidence from the crime scene, while the motives for the incident and the relationship between the perpetrator and the victim remain unclear. Investigations are ongoing to determine the circumstances of this crime that has shaken the residents of the small town with a population of no more than 800.
