US accuses Russia of turning its back on Armenia
In recent days, the United States has made an important statement regarding the relations between Armenia and Russia. Washington claims that Russia has "turned its back" on its ally Armenia. This situation is forcing the US to take new steps to change the situation in the region.
According to the American side, Russia no longer fulfills its obligations towards Armenia as it did before. For this reason, Washington has announced that it is trying to help Armenia reduce its economic and political dependence on Moscow. This is seen as an important strategic change in the South Caucasus.
Representatives of the United States note that Armenia should have more choices regarding its security and development. They believe that Russia's stance during the events of recent years showed that Yerevan cannot rely on only one partner. In this context, the US expresses readiness to expand cooperation with Armenia.
Thus, Armenia's foreign policy is in a phase of important changes. While Washington offers its support to reduce dependency, Yerevan is trying to balance its relations with different countries to ensure the country's stability and security in the future.
