Perth to Host Major WWE Events Until 2028
The Western Australian government has announced a new partnership with WWE, the world’s largest professional wrestling organization. This agreement ensures that Perth will host major wrestling events every year until 2028.
Following the successful 'Elimination Chamber' event held in Perth earlier this year, officials decided to extend their collaboration. The new deal covers a three-year period, promising a series of 'weekend takeovers' that will bring international visitors and wrestling fans to the state.
Tourism officials believe these events will provide a significant boost to the local economy. By hosting global sports entertainment, Perth aims to attract more tourists and showcase the city to a worldwide audience through WWE’s extensive broadcasting network.
This partnership highlights Western Australia's growing reputation as a destination for major international sporting events. Fans in Australia can now look forward to more high-profile wrestling shows in Perth over the next few years.
