First Austrian Family Business Summit Successfully Launched in Linz
On June 25, there was a premiere for the Austrian economy in Linz. The "Austrian Family Business Summit" took place for the first time. More than 300 entrepreneurs from all over Austria participated in the event. The meeting was a great success for the country's economic scene.
The city of Linz was chosen as the location for this important meeting because Upper Austria is a strong center for industry and family businesses. Participants used the day to talk about current challenges. In Austria, family businesses play a central role, as they secure many jobs and often exist across generations.
During the summit, the exchange of experiences and networking were the primary focus. The entrepreneurs discussed topics such as digitalization, company succession, and sustainability. It was important for the guests to make new contacts and learn from the successes of other businesses.
The success of the first event shows how important such meetings are for the Austrian economy. The organizers are very satisfied with the result. It is likely that the Family Business Summit will also be a permanent fixture in the Austrian economic calendar in the coming years.
