Austrian Travel Experts Explore the Metropolis of Istanbul
In mid-June, the tour operator Dertour Austria and the airline Turkish Airlines organized a special trip for professionals from the tourism industry. A group of travel experts flew directly from Salzburg Airport to the Turkish metropolis of Istanbul. This trip was part of the "Campus Live Deluxe" program, which aims to increase the quality of travel consultancy in Austria.
The participants started their journey in Salzburg, underscoring the importance of regional airports for international connections. Istanbul is a particularly attractive destination for travelers from Austria, as the city offers a unique blend of history, culture, and modern life. During their stay, the experts had the opportunity to closely examine the city and its tourism infrastructure.
These so-called "educational trips" are an essential part of working in the travel industry. Travel agency employees visit hotels, test local services, and visit important sights. Through these personal experiences, they can later provide much better and more detailed advice to their customers in Austria.
The cooperation between Dertour Austria and Turkish Airlines shows how important international partnerships are for the Austrian travel market. Istanbul remains a central hub and a popular destination for city breaks. Projects like this ensure that vacationers in Austria will continue to receive competent and practical advice in the future.
