30 Years of the Europa-Forum Wachau: Important Conference in Lower Austria
The Europa-Forum Wachau will take place in Lower Austria from May 18 to May 22, 2026. This year, the event is celebrating a special anniversary: it is already the 30th edition of the forum. The conference is considered one of the most important platforms for political dialogue in Europe.
Every year, the Europa-Forum Wachau brings together numerous decision-makers from European politics, business, and society. The goal of the event is to discuss the future of the European Union and to find common solutions to current challenges. The picturesque Wachau region provides the perfect setting for this exchange.
For Austria, the forum is of great importance, as it strengthens the country's position as a venue for international discussions and diplomatic cooperation. High-ranking guests are expected again this year to speak on topics such as security, economic stability, and cohesion in Europe.
The anniversary underscores the forum's long tradition as a place of encounter. The organizers emphasize that direct exchange between participants is more important than ever to further promote European cooperation. The meeting in May therefore promises once again to provide important impetus for European politics.
