Preparations for the Tour of Austria 2026 are already underway
The cycling world is already looking forward to the upcoming season with anticipation. The organizers of the Tour of Austria are working intensively on preparations for 2026 to once again make the race a sporting highlight in Austria.
A cycling race of this magnitude is an enormous logistical challenge. In addition to the professional athletes, it is above all the many volunteers and organizers who make the race possible in the first place. Without their tireless efforts before, during, and after the stages, such an event could not take place.
In the past, top international riders like the American Neilson Powless provided exciting moments. His stage victory in St. Johann remains a fond memory for many spectators. For 2026, the organizers are once again hoping for a strong field of participants and enthusiastic fans along the routes.
The Tour of Austria is not only a sporting competition but also an important opportunity to present Austrian regions to an international audience. As usual, the route will lead through scenic areas, which is attractive for both the riders and the spectators.
Planning for the details of the stages and the safety measures is currently in full swing. Cycling fans across Austria can look forward to an exciting race that will once again bring the best cyclists in the world to our country.
