BlackRock reduces stake in Austrian technology company AT&S

The world's largest asset manager, BlackRock, has slightly reduced its stake in the Austrian printed circuit board manufacturer AT&S (Austria Technologie & Systemtechnik AG). As shown in recent financial filings, the US company's share of the group's voting rights has decreased.

The adjustment primarily concerns financial instruments, for which a decline of 2,081 voting rights was recorded. In total, BlackRock's reported stake in AT&S decreased by 0.12 percentage points. As a result, the asset manager's share is now back below the four percent threshold.

Such notifications are common on the Vienna Stock Exchange, as major investors are legally required to disclose changes in their voting rights once they reach a certain threshold. These transparency rules are intended to ensure that investors are informed about the ownership structure of publicly traded companies at all times.

For AT&S, one of the leading manufacturers of high-end printed circuit boards for the global electronics industry, this change in voting rights has no immediate impact on operational business. However, the market closely monitors the movements of large investors like BlackRock, as they often serve as an indicator of the assessment of a company's economic situation.
