30 Years of the Europa-Forum Wachau: An Anniversary for European Dialogue
From May 18th to May 22nd, 2026, a special event will take place in Lower Austria: the Europa-Forum Wachau is celebrating its 30th anniversary. For three decades, the forum has been considered one of the most important venues for political exchange in Europe.
The meeting brings decision-makers from all over Europe to the Wachau region to discuss the future of the continent. Over the years, the event has developed into a fixture where politicians, experts, and business representatives work together to find solutions to current challenges.
For Austria, the forum is of great importance as it strengthens the region as a center for international dialogue. The anniversary edition promises to honor past successes while simultaneously providing new impetus for European cooperation.
The organizers are once again expecting high-profile guests this year who will speak on topics such as security, the economy, and European unity. The forum provides a platform to discuss complex political issues within a constructive framework.
With this anniversary, the Europa-Forum Wachau underscores its role as a bridge-builder. The event remains an important meeting place to promote the European community and deepen the exchange between countries.
