13 million euros for digital innovations in the Austrian healthcare sector
The Austrian Research Promotion Agency (FFG) has launched a new funding program to advance digitalization in the healthcare sector. A total of 13 million euros is available to support innovative projects and new technologies.
The goal of this initiative is to improve the quality of medical care in Austria. Through modern digital solutions, processes in hospitals and medical practices are to be made more efficient. At the same time, patients are expected to benefit from new digital services that facilitate access to medical assistance.
Companies and research institutions can apply for this funding immediately. Projects that develop new software solutions, digital diagnostic tools, or improved communication channels between doctors and patients are particularly encouraged. With this, the FFG aims to strengthen Austria's position as a hub for digital health innovations.
