Success for Carinthian innovations: Two start-ups honored as "Green Tech" role models
Two young companies from Carinthia are currently making positive headlines in the Austrian business scene. The start-ups Konatec and Hashlynk have been officially recognized as outstanding "GRÜNdungen" (green foundations) in the renowned Green Tech Valley cluster. This award underscores the growing importance of sustainable technologies from Austria's federal states.
The "Green Tech Startups 2026" initiative has set itself the task of identifying innovative companies that combine ecological solutions with economic success. In total, the list of awarded projects includes 228 companies that are making an important contribution to the green transformation of industry. Inclusion in this circle is considered a significant seal of quality for young firms.
Konatec and Hashlynk were able to convince the jury with their forward-looking approaches. While many companies in this sector focus on classic energy solutions, these two Carinthian teams demonstrate how diverse green technology can be. Their work helps to further strengthen Austria's position as a hub for ecological innovation.
The award offers the companies not only media attention, but also valuable networking opportunities within the Green Tech Valley cluster. This exchange is crucial for bringing new technologies to market maturity faster and for advancing climate protection in the economy.
This success shows that even smaller regions like Carinthia play a central role in the development of sustainable solutions. It remains to be seen how these start-ups will develop in the future and what influence their technologies will have on the Austrian market.
