Vienna Stock Exchange starts the trading day on a positive note
The Austrian leading index ATX started the trading day on August 25 with a pleasing gain. With an increase of 0.37 percent, the market shows a stable side at the beginning of trading in Europe.
Shares of Scout24 were particularly in demand in the morning, recording a significant gain of 2.67 percent. Shares of Infineon Technologies also rose by 1.67 percent, followed by Siemens Energy with an increase of 1.60 percent.
However, not all companies were able to benefit from the positive sentiment. The share of the software company SAP, on the other hand, had to accept a slight decline of 1.06 percent and is therefore among the day's losers.
The current development on the Vienna Stock Exchange reflects the general trend in European markets. Investors are now watching closely to see whether this positive trend will continue throughout the rest of the day or whether there will be profit-taking.
