Sporty weekend in Steyr: Dragon boat race thrills thousands of visitors
The city of Steyr was entirely focused on sports this past weekend. On Saturday, July 11, the traditional dragon boat race took place for the eleventh time, drawing numerous spectators to the riverbanks.
A total of 26 teams competed in the popular event. The participant group consisted of 21 men's and mixed teams, as well as other squads that showcased their skills in exciting races. Over the years, the event has become a permanent fixture in the regional event calendar.
In addition to the dragon boat race, the "Tour of Austria" also generated sporting enthusiasm in the region. The combination of these two major events attracted thousands of visitors to Steyr, who created a lively atmosphere in the city.
