Austrian detained upon entry into the USA
An incident at a US airport is currently causing a stir. An Austrian citizen was detained by local authorities while attempting to enter the United States on a tourist visa.
The reason for the measure was the man's unusual behavior during border control. According to reports, the traveler spoke a language that was completely unknown to the officers. Experts and psychologists who examined the case described the language as a completely invented and confusing fantasy language.
US border authorities reacted cautiously due to the language barrier and the lack of clarity regarding the man's intentions. Since communication in an understandable language was not possible, the Austrian was taken into custody for the time being in order to examine the situation more closely.
At present, there is no further information regarding the man's state of health or whether he will be sent back to his home country. The Austrian Embassy in the USA has been informed of the incident and is in contact with local authorities to clarify the case.
