ID Austria Service Tour: Easy Registration at the National Plowing Championship
On August 22, citizens in Lower Austria will have a special opportunity to obtain their digital identity with ease. As part of the National Plowing Championship in St. Valentin, the "ID Austria Service Tour" will be making a stop.
ID Austria is the modern successor to the mobile phone signature and enables secure access to numerous digital government services in Austria. Those who do not yet have an ID Austria can take care of this directly on-site that day.
A major advantage for visitors is that no prior appointment is necessary for registration at the service tour. Interested individuals simply need to bring a valid travel document and a current passport photo to complete the process on-site.
The combination of the service tour with the National Plowing Championship offers a practical way to combine a visit to an exciting agricultural event with an important digital task. The experts on-site will be available to help with any questions regarding the setup and use of ID Austria.
With this initiative, the public administration aims to further simplify access to digital services. ID Austria is a central tool for handling government business in Austria conveniently from home or while on the go.
