30 Years of the Europa-Forum Wachau: An Anniversary for the European Future
From May 18th to May 22nd, 2026, a special event will take place in Lower Austria. The Europa-Forum Wachau is celebrating its 30th anniversary. This event is one of the most important forums for political exchange in Europe and regularly brings together decision-makers from various countries.
This year's anniversary is marked by a special significance. High-ranking guests from politics, business, and society are expected in the picturesque Wachau region. The goal of the forum is to discuss the current challenges facing the European Union and to work together to find solutions for the future.
For three decades, the forum has served as a platform for dialogue. Participants use the time to discuss topics such as security, economic stability, and cooperation between European states. The meeting is also of great importance for Austria, as it strengthens the country's role as a bridge-builder in Europe.
The organizers emphasize that exchange between generations and different political camps is more important than ever in today's world. The Europa-Forum Wachau provides the appropriate setting for this in a relaxed yet professional atmosphere.
With this year's edition, the forum sends a strong signal for European unity. The results of the discussions will continue to influence political work long after the event has concluded and will continue to shape European cooperation.
