Passengers will enjoy free high-speed internet on Brussels Airlines.
Brussels Airlines announced that passengers will soon be able to access the internet for free during flights, thanks to a partnership with SpaceX's Starlink satellite network, which provides high-speed Wi-Fi across the airline's fleet.
This deal applies to the entire Lufthansa Group, which includes Brussels Airlines. The first flights equipped with internet service are expected to be available in the second half of 2026, starting with smaller aircraft before expanding to long-haul flights.
By the end of 2029, all Lufthansa Group aircraft are expected to be equipped with Wi-Fi, ensuring a connected experience for passengers across Europe and beyond. Frequent travelers who create a Travel ID profile will have free access to the service.
Currently, Brussels Airlines does not offer Wi-Fi service on its flights, and the company has not yet specified when the first aircraft will be equipped with this new service.
The partnership with Starlink reflects the growing trend among airlines to meet passenger demand for continuous connectivity by integrating satellite technology with modern aviation to enhance the travel experience during flights.
