Violent storms hit central Belgium
Central Belgium has been hit by intense weather events over the last few hours. Due to high temperatures and the meeting of different air masses, violent storms have broken out across several provinces, causing unstable weather conditions.
Meteorological services have observed the formation of active storm cells that are persisting over the territory. These phenomena, characterized by high intensity, can lead to significant rainfall in a short amount of time. The authorities are therefore calling for vigilance, particularly for residents located in the areas most affected by these disturbances.
The situation remains under surveillance as the storm cells continue to move. Experts explain that this type of violent weather is a direct consequence of the heat accumulated over the last few days, which promotes the rapid development of storm clouds.
Citizens are advised to stay informed via official channels and to limit their travel if conditions deteriorate further. Caution is advised to avoid any risks related to local flooding or falling objects caused by wind gusts.
