Orange Belgium launches its new TV decoder: what you need to know
The operator Orange Belgium has just announced the launch of its new TV decoder, dubbed the "2026 version." This device promises to be more powerful and more environmentally friendly thanks to reduced energy consumption.
This new box integrates several popular streaming platforms directly. Users will be able to easily access Netflix, Disney+, Amazon Prime, as well as the RTBF platform, Auvio. This centralization aims to simplify the experience for Belgian viewers.
However, the conditions for obtaining it vary depending on the subscriber's status. Orange has decided to offer this new equipment for free to new customers who sign up for an offer. Existing customers, meanwhile, have not been forgotten, but they will have to pay 49 euros if they wish to replace their old equipment with this recent model.
This commercial strategy highlights the operator's desire to modernize its technological infrastructure while managing the costs associated with deploying new devices. Interested subscribers are invited to visit the official Orange Belgium website to check their eligibility or to order the new decoder.
