Watching football in Belgium: here is the overview for the new season
For many Belgian football fans, the new season has started again. However, it is not always clear where you can watch which matches. Because broadcasting rights are divided among different channels and streaming services, fans often have to choose multiple subscriptions to follow their favorite teams.
Those who enjoy watching international football often end up with Telenet. This provider broadcasts matches from the English Premier League and the German Bundesliga, among others. This is good news for international football enthusiasts who want to follow the major European leagues closely.
There is also a clear offering for the Champions League. Telenet broadcasts the vast majority of these prestigious matches. This means that fans of top European clubs can watch most of their favorite teams' duels this way on television or via digital platforms.
It is advisable for consumers to compare the various packages carefully. The prices for sports subscriptions can vary significantly per provider. By checking in advance which leagues you really want to see, you can avoid paying unnecessarily for channels you do not use.
In short, the media landscape for football in Belgium remains in flux. Whether you are a fan of the Belgian league or prefer to watch the major European tournaments, there are plenty of options. However, it is important to inform yourself well about the costs and the channels before taking out a subscription.
