FPS Public Health recognized for innovation at the federal level
The Federal Public Service (FPS) Public Health received significant recognition this week. The institution was awarded twice during the "Federal Innovation Awards 2026" ceremony, an event that honors the most innovative projects within the Belgian administration.
These awards recognize the FPS's efforts to modernize its services and improve its efficiency. Through these new initiatives, the ministry aims to facilitate access to care and simplify administrative procedures for all Belgian citizens.
Innovation within public services has become a priority for the federal government. The goal is to respond more quickly to current challenges in the health sector, particularly by using new digital tools and more collaborative working methods.
This double distinction highlights the daily work of the FPS Public Health teams. These innovative projects are expected, in the long term, to provide better service to the population while optimizing state resources.
