Orange Belgium finalizes its "Last Mile" network modernization project
Telecommunications operator Orange Belgium has just announced the completion of its vast project dubbed "Last Mile." This initiative aimed to modernize the country's digital infrastructure to meet the growing demand for high-speed connectivity.
Thanks to this work, the company's hybrid fiber-coaxial network has been significantly strengthened. This technical upgrade now makes it possible to offer a more stable and higher-performing connection to many users across Belgian territory.
In total, more than 50,000 homes and businesses are directly benefiting from these improvements. This deployment is part of the "GIGA" project, which aims to increase download speeds and the quality of internet service for the operator's customers.
With the completion of this project, Orange Belgium strengthens its position in the national telecom market. This modernization is an important step in ensuring that Belgian citizens have access to communication technologies that are increasingly fast and adapted to current digital usage.
