Yannick Carrasco extends his contract with Al-Shabab until 2027
Belgian international Yannick Carrasco has decided to continue his adventure in Saudi Arabia. Al-Shabab officially announced on Monday that the 32-year-old winger has signed a contract extension. He is now tied to the club until June 2027.
Carrasco joined Al-Shabab in 2023 after a successful career in Europe, most notably at Atletico Madrid. Since his arrival, he has become an essential player for the Saudi team. His international experience and technical talent have allowed the club to strengthen its attack and stabilize its performance in the league.
The Belgian player's statistics are impressive. In 77 matches played across all competitions, he has scored 33 goals and provided 22 assists. This season has been particularly successful for him, as he has already scored 18 goals, confirming his status as an offensive leader on the pitch.
This decision puts an end to rumors regarding a possible departure of the player to another destination. By choosing to stay, Carrasco shows his commitment to Al-Shabab's sporting project. The club's supporters can therefore rejoice in seeing their star continue to play in their colors for the coming seasons.
