FPS Public Health honored for innovation at the federal level
The Federal Public Service (FPS) Public Health received significant recognition this week. The institution was awarded twice during the "Federal Innovation Award 2026" ceremony, an event that honors the most creative projects within the Belgian administration.
These awards recognize the FPS's efforts to modernize its services and improve its efficiency. Through these new working methods, the organization seeks to better meet the health needs of the Belgian population while using digital technologies more intelligently.
Innovation has become a priority for public services in Belgium. By encouraging innovative projects, the federal government aims to simplify administrative procedures for citizens and facilitate the daily work of state employees.
This double award highlights the quality of the work accomplished by the teams at FPS Public Health. These projects will now serve as a model for other federal administrations that also wish to modernize their tools and internal processes in the coming years.
