Bol.com brings payment service bol.checkout to Belgium
The well-known online retailer Bol.com is expanding its services in Belgium. The company is introducing 'bol.checkout' to the Belgian market. This allows customers to pay at other affiliated webshops using their trusted Bol account.
With this new service, consumers do not have to re-enter their personal details every time they shop at a different webshop. If a webshop is affiliated with bol.checkout, customers can simply log in with their Bol account to complete the payment quickly and securely.
For Belgian webshops, this system offers an advantage because the payment process becomes much simpler for the customer. The goal is to make online shopping easier by using the data that customers have already stored with Bol.
The rollout of this service fits into Bol's strategy to strengthen its position in the Belgian market. It is not yet known which specific Belgian webshops will be the first to use this new payment method.
