Orange Belgium launches its new TV decoder: what you need to know
Orange Belgium has just unveiled the 2026 version of its TV decoder. This new device promises to be more powerful and more environmentally friendly thanks to reduced energy consumption. It also allows easy access to many popular streaming platforms, such as Netflix, Disney+, Amazon Prime, as well as the RTBF Auvio platform.
However, the conditions for obtaining this equipment vary depending on the subscriber's status. For new customers, the operator offers this device as part of its new packages. On the other hand, existing customers who wish to benefit from this more modern technology will have to pay the sum of 49 euros.
This strategic choice by the operator aims to modernize the fleet of devices installed in Belgian homes. By offering a higher-performance decoder, Orange seeks to improve the user experience while addressing current energy efficiency challenges.
For loyal subscribers, this is therefore an optional investment. Interested customers are advised to check if their current subscription is compatible with the new features offered by this box before placing an order.
