Belgian rider Jos Verlooy performs strongly in Saint-Tropez
The well-known Belgian rider Jos Verlooy has once again made his mark on the international stage. During a prestigious competition in Saint-Tropez, France, he managed to collect valuable points for the Longines Ranking, the world ranking for show jumpers.
Verlooy appeared in the ring with his horse Parise van den Dael, a descendant of the famous stallion I Am Moerhoeve's Star. The duo showed strong form and managed to hold their own in an international field of competitors with plenty of rivalry.
Despite a clear and fast round, the former Belgian champion just missed out on a podium finish. He ended the competition just outside the top three, but can nevertheless look back on a very successful performance in France.
This competition in Saint-Tropez is an important part of the international show jumping season. For riders like Verlooy, these events are crucial to improve their position on the world ranking and to prepare for larger championships in the future.
