Besnik Hasi begins a new career in Turkey
Besnik Hasi, the former coach of the Belgian club Anderlecht, has found a new job. Four months after being dismissed by Sporting, the Albanian is starting a new professional adventure. This return to the world of football marks the end of a short period of inactivity for the manager.
For this new project, Besnik Hasi is changing roles. He will not be on the sidelines as head coach, but will instead take on the position of technical director. It is a different role that will allow him to manage the club's overall sporting organization rather than leading daily training sessions.
His new club is Amed SK, a team currently playing in the Turkish second division (D2). This choice of destination may seem surprising, but it offers Hasi the opportunity to discover a new league and put his experience at the service of a developing structure.
Last February, Besnik Hasi was dismissed by the Anderlecht management following a series of disappointing results. Since leaving Belgium, he had been looking for an interesting challenge to relaunch his career. He finally decided to leave Western Europe to settle in Turkey.
This appointment is an important turning point for the former player. As technical director, he will have to use his knowledge of top-level football to help Amed SK move up the standings. Belgian football observers will be closely following his first steps in these new functions.
