The adjustment was the result of a ruling by a German judge, which directly impacted the viewing experience across the entire region, including Belgium and the Netherlands.
Many subscribers are now wondering if they are still receiving full value for their monthly contribution. There is even criticism regarding subscription costs in relation to the quality provided. Some users jokingly suggest that the streaming service should refund a portion of the subscription fee now that certain features are no longer available.
Disney+ has not yet responded extensively to the specific complaints regarding image quality. For the time being, users in Belgium and the rest of Europe must make do with the current settings.
