Belgian Cats drop to sixth place in world rankings after World Cup
The Belgian national women's basketball team, the Belgian Cats, has dropped in the official world rankings. Following their recent participation in the World Cup, the team is now in sixth place.
The decline in the rankings is the result of the team's elimination in the quarterfinals of the tournament. Although the Belgian Cats once again showcased their talent during the World Cup, the result in the quarterfinal was not enough to maintain their previous position at the top of the world rankings.
Despite the lower ranking, the Belgian Cats remain a major player in international basketball. The team has achieved great success in recent years and continues to be a source of pride for Belgian sports fans.
The players and the coaching staff are already looking ahead to the next challenges. The focus is on improving performance in order to climb back up the rankings in the future and once again compete for medals at major tournaments.
