AZ Sint-Lucas and AZ Jan-Palfijn receive new, modern MUG vehicle
The hospitals AZ Sint-Lucas and AZ Jan-Palfijn in Ghent will soon be able to use a new MUG vehicle. This vehicle has been specially designed to transport medical teams to the scene of serious accidents or medical emergencies more quickly and safely.
The vehicle is equipped with the latest technology. This technology is intended to ensure that doctors and nurses can perform their work in the vehicle even more efficiently. The additional tools in the car are meant to improve patient care during transport to the hospital.
At the moment, the car is still undergoing extensive testing. It is important that all new systems in the vehicle are working perfectly before the vehicle is officially put into service. The hospitals do not want to take any risks with the safety of staff and patients.
As soon as the testing phase is fully completed, the MUG vehicle will be officially added to the hospitals' fleet. From that moment on, the medical teams will be able to head out in this modern car to provide assistance to people in need in the region.
