Fourteen new stallions approved at Zangersheide studbook
The renowned Belgian horse studbook Zangersheide has recently officially approved fourteen new stallions. This decision follows an extensive selection procedure in which the animals were assessed on their physical qualities and their aptitude for show jumping.
The organization describes this as a very interesting group of horses. According to the experts, these stallions possess great potential, which is of great importance for both professional sport and future breeding. During the inspection, several favorites who had already been attracting the attention of breeders and riders for some time particularly stood out.
For the Belgian equestrian sector, this is an important moment. Zangersheide, based in Lanaken, plays a major role in international equestrian sport. By admitting new stallions, the studbook hopes to further increase the level of sport horses in Belgium and beyond.
In the coming period, the approved stallions will be used for breeding. Enthusiasts and breeders are already looking forward to the first offspring of these animals. The success of this selection day once again confirms Belgium's strong position as an international center for horse breeding.
