Jérémy Doku temporarily leaves the Red Devils for personal and health reasons
Famous Belgian forward Jérémy Doku has had to temporarily leave his national team teammates. Currently involved in a major international competition, the player made the decision to return to London for both medical and personal reasons.
The first reason for this sudden departure concerns the player's health. Jérémy Doku is suffering from respiratory issues that require special attention. To receive the best possible care and recover quickly, he chose to consult specialists in England, where he usually plays for his club, Manchester City.
In addition to these health concerns, happy news was waiting for the footballer. His partner was about to give birth. Jérémy Doku therefore wished to be present alongside his family for the birth of his child. This is an essential family moment that explains his need to step away from the pitch for a few days.
For Belgian supporters and the Red Devils team, this departure is significant news. Doku is a key element of the Belgian attack thanks to his speed and his ability to beat opponents. His absence, even if short, forces the coach to adapt his strategy for the team's upcoming matches.
Despite this interruption, fans hope to see the player return in top form very soon. The current priority remains his health and family well-being. All of Belgium is now waiting to find out when the young talent will be able to rejoin the group to continue the adventure with the national team.
