Thales Belgium massively increases its production of anti-drone rockets
The defense company Thales Belgium has announced a significant increase in its production capacity. The Belgian site will now manufacture up to 100,000 anti-drone rockets each year. This decision marks a key milestone for the arms industry in our country.
This increase in production responds to growing demand on the international market. The rockets produced by Thales are designed to neutralize drones, a threat that has become very common in modern conflicts. The company uses feedback and data collected in the field to improve the effectiveness of its systems.
The development of this production line strengthens Belgium's position in the European defense sector. By investing in these technologies, Thales Belgium hopes to meet the urgent security needs of many allied countries seeking to protect their infrastructure against light aerial attacks.
With this new production rate, Thales confirms its strategic role within the French group. This industrial expansion could also have a positive impact on local employment and Belgian technological expertise in the years to come.
