This Wednesday, the city of La Paz prepares to receive a series of mobilizations organized by various social sectors. Groups of peasants, neighborhood federations, and workers have announced their participation in a massive march that seeks to reach the center of the Bolivian seat of government.
Among the participating groups are the peasants from the Ingavi province, who are part of the Tupac Katari organization. Additionally, a group of citizens from Potosí arrived in the city on Tuesday night to join the protests, reinforcing the presence of different regions of the country in the capital.
The Federations of Neighborhood Councils (Fejuves) and members of the Bolivian Workers' Center (COB) have also joined these mobilizations. These organizations represent a large part of the workforce and local residents, increasing the magnitude of the call for this Wednesday.
Authorities and citizens of La Paz are attentive to the development of these marches, which could affect traffic and normal activities in the city. It is expected that the mobilizations will be carried out peacefully while the different sectors express their social and political demands in the streets.
