Temporary disruptions to Vivacom mobile services across the country
Thousands of users of the telecommunications operator Vivacom faced unexpected technical problems today. Subscribers from various parts of Bulgaria reported difficulties using voice services, as well as connecting to mobile internet.
The issue primarily affected the ability to make calls, with many customers reporting that they were unable to make or receive calls. Additionally, VoLTE and VoWi-Fi services, which allow calls over 4G and Wi-Fi networks, temporarily ceased to function normally for a large portion of users.
By the late hours of the day, the company began working to resolve the fault. At 10:19 PM, it was reported that the situation was gradually normalizing, with voice services already working in the capital, Sofia, and full restoration expected in the remaining regions.
The automated customer service system at number 123 was also overloaded due to the large number of inquiries from affected users. The operator apologized for the inconvenience caused and assured that their teams worked as a priority on restoring the network.
At the moment, the situation is stabilizing and most subscribers now have access to their usual mobile services. Users who are still experiencing difficulties are advised to restart their devices to reconnect to the operator's network.
