The systems of ChatGPT, Claude, and Grok stopped working for several hours, hindering the work of millions of people who rely on these tools in their daily lives.
The services of the company Anthropic were most severely affected, with issues spanning the Claude chatbot, the Claude Code tool, and the specialized API service. Users reported that they were unable to log into their accounts or receive responses to their queries, which sparked a wave of comments on social media.
The companies' technical teams responded quickly to the situation. According to information from the technology publication The Verge, the teams worked actively to fix the errors in the servers that support these platforms.
The problem was fully resolved around 7:15 PM Bulgarian time. As of this moment, access to all affected services has been restored, and users can continue to use the chatbots without interruptions.
This incident serves as a reminder of how dependent we have become on artificial intelligence technologies in the modern digital world. Although the outage was short-lived, it highlighted the importance of reliable infrastructure for maintaining these modern tools.
