The National Protection Service celebrated its 147th anniversary
The National Protection Service (NPS) solemnly celebrated 147 years since its establishment. The service is one of the oldest institutions in Bulgaria, responsible for the security of state leaders and important public figures.
During the official ceremony, the historical roots of the institution, which has been in charge of state security since the time after the Liberation, were recalled. NPS employees emphasized the importance of their work for the country's stability.
The holiday was marked by a series of events attended by current and former employees of the service. They paid tribute to the institution's traditions and the professionalism required to carry out their responsible tasks.
Today, the NPS continues to develop its working methods in order to meet modern security challenges. The service remains a key element in the system for protecting statehood in Bulgaria.
