Olympic champion Karlos Nasar becomes the face of Bulgarian tourism
Olympic weightlifting champion Karlos Nasar will participate in promoting Bulgaria as a tourist destination. The athlete, who won a gold medal at the Paris Games, will be part of the country's new advertising campaigns aimed at an international audience.
Minister of Tourism Evtim Dimitrov met personally with Nasar to discuss their future joint initiatives. During the meeting, the minister presented the champion with a special statuette featuring a Bulgarian rose. This symbol will be a key element in the messages that Bulgaria will convey to foreign tourists.
The choice of Karlos Nasar is not accidental, as he is currently one of the most recognizable and successful Bulgarian athletes. It is expected that his authority and popularity will help attract more guests from abroad to discover the country's cultural and natural wealth.
This initiative is part of the Ministry of Tourism's efforts to leverage the success of Bulgarian athletes to improve Bulgaria's image around the world. By combining sporting achievements with the beauty of the Bulgarian landscape, the state hopes to increase interest in the country as a destination for relaxation and adventure.
